“30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”
Nobody can jump up in there and add anything to that. Signed, sealed, and delivered by Love Himself. Giving it up did not mean He was “done in,” it simply meant He was done. Love had given what Love came to give.
The largest addition sign ever stood on the Skull that day; Love’s investment was not given to produce a deficit, rather,... to produce eternal gain. Love is not designed to destroy it is designed to heal.
Love did not come to condemn, He came to save. Love did not come to destroy He came to build (Luke 9:56; Matthew 16:18). The packaged plan was sealed when He said “It is finished.” Anyone from any culture opens this package can have what Love has given; it is as simple as opening our hearts to believe and receive.
