ARE YOU BREATHING?

Acts 14:14-17 (KJV)
14 Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,
15 And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:
16 Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways...
.
17 Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.
Do you reckon these men were serious? Those people were saying they were gods who have come down in the likeness of men. What a mighty God we serve – these apostles were not playing games they wanted them folks to know the one and only true and living God. Ripping and snorting through the crowd they meant for these people to acknowledge the simple things afforded them. Waking up every day to a planet created by God, breathing the air given to them without being destroyed for their ignorance. People every day ignore the simple witness God gives of Himself that He is good to give us rain from heaven, fruitful seasons, that we can eat our food with gladness.
People live in disbelief because God never says anything to them verbally from His own mouth. God is a Spirit; He uses His mercy to speak to us by letting us wake up every day. We are not without witness of Him, stand still and look around us; He is speaking out to us through all His creation. Ask the simple question, can I breathe and continue to live as it is afforded to me to do so? In that alone God is speaking
