IRREVOCABLE

Psalm 110:4 (KJV)
‘The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.”
The principle here is God given abilities and ordained purposes are irrevocable. If we work against it, it will work against us. If we work with it, it simply works. Just because things goes sideways does not mean God has changed His mind concerning us. “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance” (Romans 11:29). Repentance here is not our repentance, it is God’s. God has a perfect plan for our lives and He “…will not repent…” of it (He will not change His mind). His will for all of us is that we repent so we may not perish. Regardless of what our gifts and callings are; if we do not repent, everything we touch is contaminated and will eventually perish.
