SURPRISE

1 John 4:12-13 (KJV)
“12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.”
No one has seen God; nonetheless, if they see love working among us, they have come as close to seeing God as they can. The Spirit of God in us is love at work in us.
Love is not something we deserve; love transforms us and extends opportunities to be grateful. Love brings light into darkness, hope into despair, and surprise into the mundane. Love can change what seems to be permanent.
When we look around us and see things that are impossible, we must remember, love is something we give not something we keep. Surprise yourself and surprise the impossible; after all, this is what God did for us.
