HE WORKS

Matthew 5:48 (KJV)
“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”
Functional, He works. He is my Father, He is our Father; He is Father. “Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite” (Psalm 147:5). There is nothing He does not understand, this is important. He knows how everything works. He knows how sin works and He knows how righteousness works. He even knows how things that do not work, work.
When He looks at our sin He sees beyond the sin into why we sin; the why becomes the issue more than the transgression itself. It is not so much that His will is being ignored as to why we His children are dysfunctional. He is our parent – Fathers are parents and parents assume responsibility for their children and their actions.
And, we wonder why His grace is so amazing. Grace is simply understanding at work. Once again, He works, He is far from dysfunctional. His grace is amazing because He understands us.
We His children must reflect that perfect in Him, that which functions and is mature in nature. When we are able to see beyond people’s sin and focus more on the why, grace comes into play and we begin to work like Daddy works.
Find the pain, touch the hurt – reach out to the lonely soul – take them to Jesus, take them to Jesus – to be healed, delivered, and made whole – take them to Jesus.
