HAPPY NEW YEAR

Acts 26:1-2 (KJV)
“1 Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Thou art permitted to speak for thyself. Then Paul stretched forth the hand, and answered for himself:
2 I think myself happy, king Agrippa, because I shall answer for myself this day before thee touching all the things whereof I am accused of the Jews:”
Happy is not some euphoric feeling floating around in the air waiting to land on us. Happy is a choice we make about ourselves. We must choose to “Think ours
elves happy.” Why will the New Year be all happy and everything. Is it because everything will go our way or is it everything will work against us? Happy must be our choice whether things goes our way or not. Every 30 seconds someone is captured for sex trafficking, somewhere in this world believers are being imprisoned or slaughtered for believing.
Paul was permitted to speak for himself; if we were granted the same, what do we have to say for ourselves? We must think ourselves happy. We must make the choice to be happy. We do this by taking into count that God is with us no matter what takes place; He is God when everything goes right and He is God when everything goes wrong. This is a New Year and in answering for ourselves – we must “Think ourselves Happy.”
