SO

John 3:16 (KJV)
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
There is no way we humans could ever measure this word “so” in this text. It is not measured in “how much” for there is no end to it; as far as its beginning, it began before the foundation of this world was laid. It was in God to love us before this world had its beginning. Everlasting life is a reflection of His everlasting Love. God wants us to have it; it is not His will that any should perish but that we all learn transformation. Our knowledge may give us a deeper gratefulness of this Love; however, to accept it and to interact with it is His greater desire. It is in this interaction that Zoe life, God life (everlasting life) takes hold of us.
