RECORD

1 John 5:10-12 (KJV)
“10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.”
This life is in His Son. When we get into Him, this life that is in Him gets into us; when this takes place, we begin to have a witness down deep that He truly is alive. With every event and the outcome of those events our testimony (witness) becomes a record. Having Jesus with us is “God with us” (Emanuel). This is eternal life. If we are determined to have Him; when it is all said and done in the end, Jesus will raise us up (John 6:44 ; John 6:54). This simply means our record with Him will speak for us.
