PURPOSE

John 13:1 (KJV)
“Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.”
John 16:28 (KJV)
“I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.”
I believe this to be true. Just the short time of approximately three and half years Jesus gave them all He was given to give, “…for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you” (John 15:15). “…he loved them unto the end.” He was sent here from the Father with a purpose and He went back to the Father with a purpose.
