2 Corinthians 10:3-6 (KJV)
“3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”
Accomplishments begin in the imagination – “And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do” (Genesis 11:6).
Many things come into being as a result of imagination – “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer” (Psalm 19:14).
The real war is to think correctly. This is not a flesh thing; this is a movement that can only take place in spirit. The direction our spirit is moving in will be the direction our flesh will take. Therefore, “though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.”

RECORD
1 John 5:10-12 (KJV)
“10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.”
This life is in His Son. When we get into Him, this life that is in Him gets into us; when this takes place, we begin to have a witness down deep that He truly is alive. With every event and the outcome of those events our testimony (witness) becomes a record. Having Jesus with us is “God with us” (Emanuel). This is eternal life. If we are determined to have Him; when it is all said and done in the end, Jesus will raise us up (John 6:44 ; John 6:54). This simply means our record with Him will speak for us.

SO
John 3:16 (KJV)
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
There is no way we humans could ever measure this word “so” in this text. It is not measured in “how much” for there is no end to it; as far as its beginning, it began before the foundation of this world was laid. It was in God to love us before this world had its beginning. Everlasting life is a reflection of His everlasting Love. God wants us to have it; it is not His will that any should perish but that we all learn transformation. Our knowledge may give us a deeper gratefulness of this Love; however, to accept it and to interact with it is His greater desire. It is in this interaction that Zoe life, God life (everlasting life) takes hold of us.

REVIVAL
Revival is not an event in a sanctuary alone; revival is something we become in our living.
I preached revival services when they lasted a minimal of seven days; preaching every night of the year shy of maybe three to four weeks of traveling time getting from one place or the other; or, in a convention of sort. I preached one revival in Riverbank, California for six weeks. The most successful revival services I have preached without fail took place because the members of the church were on fire themselves (they were revival); found that if the people were revival, more souls were saved, and more spiritual encounters took place. I served as an evangelist in the Church of God of Prophecy for approximately 15 years and witnessed this fact to be true.
There is a huge difference between a crusade and a revival. When it comes to ministry, crusades are strategic campaigns structured and targeted for lost souls to be saved; administratively constructed on many levels for the desired result. Revivals are a “result” of transformation that has taken place in the life of the believer.
Therefore, revival is when something that has died in us or is dead in us comes alive. In the case of the church, it is when praying throughout the day becomes vibrant and moving; it is when we are drawn to be in the Word daily until the Word is in us daily, it is when how we live our lives is more important than how we do church; because, it is no longer about how we do church as it is “being the church.” Therefore, worship services become a manifestation of how we have lived our lives outside the sanctuary.
Ladies shaking their head till all their hair-pins are slung out is a celebration of stomping the devil all week long by showing holy kindness to everyone they encounter; they come to church with pep in their step. In other words, they do not need reviving, they are revival. Consequently, a revival service is an opportunity for them to celebrate the freedom they had gotten from worshipping God all day every day (displaying the character of Christ in smiles, hugs, kisses, and understanding).
Now, revival services become scheduled services that those who are revival can celebrate and those needing to be revived can catch the revival from those who have become revival. In this case, the revival speaker becomes one who validates their worship with God when no one has seen them displaying Christ outside the sanctuary.
When sinners see this fire in the believer it gives them a hunger to believe. Revival is not structured for us to gripe about everything that has gone wrong with the church or with the world. Revival is designed to celebrate about everything that is right about being the church. Revival is about being positive about regeneration, transformation, repentance, salvation, sanctification, and being so filled with the Spirit there is no room for anything else; ate up with the fire of God from the floor up.
Revival is not about expressing what has been it is a celebration of what is.

HOPE
Romans 4:17-18 (KJV)
“17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.”
“For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it” (Romans 8:24-25).
Just because we cannot see it now does not mean it cannot be. If God says we can, we can. Salvation is provided to us by the shed blood of Jesus. We can live holy because He tells us to; we overcome because He says we can. The shed blood of Jesus takes out the “can’t do” and puts the “can do” in.
Abraham was a broken person just as you and I are. He lied, his offspring lied; a behavior caught and active; yet, righteousness became imputed because he believed beyond his brokenness. His belief was active towards what God had said about him. It was not that his faith motivated his hope; his hope motivated his faith, he became active in what he could not see. Others could not see it either, the king called his hand on his lie.
He did not pack his bags and leave the country God called him to; he stayed and worked through it. His failure to perform righteousness did not stop him from pursuing righteousness. Furthermore, when he saw his brokenness break his son in the same behavioral pattern; still yet, he sent his servant to fetch him a bride. He kept moving towards what God said he could be and what He said His offspring could be.
So, against hope we can believe in hope; especially, if God says we can.

LET IT GO
1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”
Casting: throw, let go
Care: distraction
Careth: to be of interest or concerned
We are an interest and concern to God and more so than the distractions we have; so, let it go.

STICK
1 John 2:28 (KJV)
“And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.”
We are setting in a room all alone and we are the only one of our piers that has been where we have been and seen what we have seen, and it is the only reason our secrecies may be a secret to some; yet, the outcome of those things that have happened is visible and is on display that these things really did take place.
Our accuser, one of the invisible and unnoticed was there and has the ability to replay every moment, and as we set in this empty room waiting for the one person who can help us; He walks in and takes seat, the Advocate; He was there too as the other invisible unnoticed.
Before any of these events took place the accuser determined to be at every event, his purpose has been to destroy us from the beginning. The Advocate has seen the events as they happened as well, but from the beginning He has determined to see them differently as our accuser. In fact, He took things a step further; unnoticed by us, He has made a personal contribution that can eliminate all our guilt and shame involved.
So, as He sets there He gives us this message. I am the only truth you have in these events, if you stick with me I will stick with you and I will get you through this. The only way I can help you is for you to understand things as they were and to be straight up honest about it all; the moment you choose to skirt any issue or twist any event beyond the truth my advocacy is over.
The only hope we have is to abide in Him as He abides in us; in and of ourselves we can do nothing to erase the guilt and the shame compiled upon us. Jesus (Yashua) is His name; if we stick with Him, no matter what takes place, He will stick with us.

START
1 John 2:24-25 (KJV)
“Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.”
Focusing on the word eternal and how it connects to the beginning: It is taken from (aion); perpetual (also used of past time, or past and future as well) eternal, for ever, everlasting, world (began). (Strongs Dictionary) When considering our future we can never disconnect from our past. This is not as much about time as it is events and moments lived out. In other words, our eternity consist of what was, what is, and what is to come in or outside of time. Our beginning with the Father and the Son began before the foundation of the world as we know it. We were in God’s mind. This is the beginning with Him, and whether we are able to understand it or not, this is the beginning with us.
To connect with what we describe as life after death, we must first connect with our beginning inside the Father and the Son. Eternal life is the ability to take it all in; this is the promise and this is a gift from God. Go back, connect, and get started. The work of Christ is “Reconciliation.”

Hebrews 1:1-3 (KJV)
“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;”
God had something to say; He said it all in Jesus.

PURPOSE
John 13:1 (KJV)
“Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.”
John 16:28 (KJV)
“I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.”
I believe this to be true. Just the short time of approximately three and half years Jesus gave them all He was given to give, “…for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you” (John 15:15). “…he loved them unto the end.” He was sent here from the Father with a purpose and He went back to the Father with a purpose.

IN A NEW WORLD
John 12:31-32 (KJV)
“Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.”
The hour has come that Jesus’ death on the cross will bring justice to this world we live in. Not talking about our city, state, or nation; not talking about the grass, trees, or mountains. Talking about the world we live in. “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world” (1 John 2:15-16).
This Greek word “kosmos” for world in our text is where we get our word “cosmos” from. It is referring to an arrangement or system by which something operates. Jesus’ death on the cross brings judgment to the way things operate in this world; His death brings to us a new arrangement of things from His world. We now operate in Righteousness, Peace, and Joy in the Holy Ghost; these three replace this world’s three. The prince of this world is “cast out.”
We can drag, nag, pull, jump up and down, scream and holler at folks; it is not until we are drawn to this that we are able to make it our choice. “…all men…” is making reference to humanity at large, both Jew and Gentile; His death on the cross is the only drawing power that evicts the prince of this world and gives us a new world to live in and by.
