JESUS ALL UP IN HERE

(Acts 9:40-42 ESV)
“But Peter put them all outside, and knelt down and prayed; and turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up. And he gave her his hand and raised her up. Then calling the saints and widows, he presented her alive. And it became known throughout all Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.”
Our significance is not found in our spiritual gifts. Our significance is found in expressing Jesus to the lost world we live in, it is when our spiritual gifts become a witness of His presence in our lives, and more specifically, in our living.
It is not solely what we do in church that will change the world we live in; it is what we do in the world that will change the world we live in. We are to be a witness of Jesus and His healing presence. The manifestations of the Spirit in the life of the believer manifest as a witness of His deliverance and healing presence. More simply, spiritual gifts manifest that we may be a witness unto Him.
At this point, it does not matter if others recognize our spiritual gifts; the point becomes that they recognize the healing presence of Jesus in us. Consequently, our significance comes into view as Jesus comes into view. We must understand it is not our spiritual gifts that are on display; the manifestation of the Spirit is Jesus on display.
