THE LIFE HE LIVED AND IS NOW LIVING

Romans 5:8-10 (KJV)

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.  For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”

Reconciled to God by His death; Justified by His blood, and we shall be saved by His life. The life Jesus lived and the life He possess’ presently is as important as the death He died. The life Jesus lived and the life the Father returned to Him in the resurrection saves us.

His death and His blood established “initial salvation.” In other words, this begins the process of deliverance, healing, and wholeness and it is by His life that this process works in succession.  Therefore, with His life we encounter salvation on a broader level.

Jesus telling us those who endure to the “end” will be saved, gives us the broader sense to salvation (Matthew 10:22). Salvation is much broader than being reconciled, justified, and forgiven. Forgiveness of sin opens the door to the ongoing salvation we encounter daily by His life; of which includes sanctification and the daily walk with the Holy Spirit teaching us Jesus (the life He lived and is now living,) which is inexhaustible.

His life is not stagnate, stale, or some memory stuck on a shelf we can pull out as vindication when we do wrong. His life is dynamic, ever moving, flowing, and creating newness. Daily, His life brings deliverance, healing, and wholeness.

His death and His blood lift’s the wrath of God from us and bring us into family status with our Heavenly Father so we can encounter such a great salvation by His life.

LOVE - "all thing" thing

1 Corinthians 13:7 (KJV)
"Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things."
Bear it, believe it, hope, and endure. Love got it going on - Jump up in there and get some. God can wipe it on you, put it on you, throw it on you, and spill it on you. It is like WD-40, if it is stuck and can't move spray some on it. Do not mess with anybody meaner than you. Like brother Wilson said, "if love don't work, do not try anything else."  Love is the all "can do" and get things done. You can even put it on your enemy and they will be at peace with you. It is the "all thing" thing. I carry it around with me every where I go. When it gets tough I just pull it out and things begin to change before I can even wipe it on anything. It is amazing how well it works on anything and everything. Know what I mean?

JESUS / THE BREAD OF HIS PRESENCE

JESUS / THE BREAD OF HIS PRESENCE

John 6:61-63 (KJV)

“…he said unto them, Doth this offend you?  What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

Consuming the bread from heaven daily is the portal by which His Kingdom takes residence in us.  Cannibalism is not His request; it is not the contention between us and heaven.  It is our human inability to open our hearts to that which is spirit.  To think beyond this veil is offensive to our flesh.  When He bowed His head and gave up the Ghost is when the veil in the temple ripped from top to bottom.

Biblical history teaches us the veil hang in the temple eighteen inches thick. Now that is some sure enough thick fabric. It would have taken two teams of oxen pulling in opposite directions to rip such thickness.

How many teams of oxen would it take to pull the flesh from us that we would have access into the Father’s presence?  According to Jesus it is simply in our thoughts, it is how real His words become to us.  His words are spirit and they are life.

It is much deeper than “squinting our eyes” as to force our thoughts into another realm; it is when our thoughts become convinced it is real, authentic, and undeniably true.  It is when our character becomes transformed in submission to the bread being consumed.

The immediacy of John the revelator breathing heavens oxygen came from the years of offending his flesh; his spirit man won out over his flesh.  The fastest movement in the spirit is stillness and the loudest sound is silence, better said, it is dead flesh.

In this case, ascending into heaven has nothing to do with changing our location, it is simply believing because it has become our nature to believe.

THE VOICE OF HIS WORD

THE VOICE OF HIS WORD
Psalm 103:19-22 (KJV)
19  The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.
20  Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
21  Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
22  Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the LORD, O my soul.

There is a harmony in obedience.  “…hearkening unto the voice of His word” The voice of His Word carries a sound, that sound carries His heart, and that sound exemplifies His disposition and feelings.  Not just hearing His Word or what is said, but also, hearing what is not said.

“That sound” when obeyed becomes a sound in harmony with His sound. There is a new song being sung in the earth today, it is this sound going forth. We are not just doing what He tells us to do; we are being propelled by “the sound” in His voice.

We are becoming His pleasure, His sorrow, His joy, and His tears. The reason why He is saying what He is saying becomes the reasons why we are doing and being. We miss His Words when we miss the “voice of His Words.” The voice is Him in those words.

The apostle Paul stood on the rock inscribed “The unknown God.” He said from there, “…I pray you happily feel after Him.” With all the technical, intellectual, and superfluity of knowledge we have today, people are afraid to feel. People have become numb in their sensory.  Our knowledge has become so complicated it has become confused.

We cannot effectively hear His Word until we become healed in our feeler. We must happily feel after God. Get in touch with our heart so we can get in touch with His heart. We cannot understand fully what He is saying until we can hear “the voice of His word.”

Responding to that sound is the new sound being released in the earth today.

BELIEVING IN THE NAME OF JESUS

BELIEVING IN THE NAME OF JESUS
1 John 5:12-15 (KJV)
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing ac...
cording to his will, he heareth us:
15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

What an honor and great privilege we have as believers that we are allowed to participate in the very life of God, the Zoe eternal life of God. “He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life" (vs. 12). We serve a living and vibrant God, a God who has predestined us to win as we choose to participate with His will and purpose for our lives.
God’s will and purpose for our lives is already predestined in His heart. His will for our lives is not for a select few, nor is His will destructive and beyond our willingness to choose. 2 peter 3:9 declares this truth to us: “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
To participate in the life of God is the same as participating in His will; God’s will is that no one should perish and that all should come to repentance. Therefore, the condition is simple and straight forward; we pursue His heart and find His will, live it out, and we will find ourselves participating in the very life of God.
Until “His will” becomes our vision for life, until we own His will as our will, sin will continue to dominate us and the death and emptiness it serves. All too many begin with God as an idea of freedom without the willingness to investigate the restrictions His will calls for.
If we would only find the joy in making His joy our joy – His peace our peace – His truth our truth, there is nothing impossible with God when His will becomes our will. Jesus said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God” (Luke 18:27). Therefore, the possibilities of God are not impossible when we choose to come in line with His will.
Psalm 37:4-5 declares: “Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” When our pleasures become His pleasures He will give us the desires of our heart. When we put our trust in this equation He shall bring it to pass.
Once again, His will is not beyond our willingness to choose; His will is simply that we would come to repentance. This is the simple truth about God; when we come to Him, from that moment on we are ever turning from our ways to His ways.
Repentance is to change directions, it is to turn completely around and go in the other direction; this is why repentance means change. If we are going in the same direction we have always gone we have not yet repented.
One may ask; how often do we change as believers, as often as we discover His will, and this is all made possible as we choose to believe on the name of Jesus. In and of ourselves we do not have or possess the power to change; it is as we believe on the name of Jesus that we are empowered to change.
John tells us with verse 13: “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”
The name Jesus is a Greek form of the Hebrew name Joshua meaning “Yahweh is salvation” (yehoshua, the long form) or “Yahweh saves” (Yeshua, the short form). This is why the gospel of Matthew declares “…thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21).
This word save in the Greek is sode'-zo and means to deliver, to heal, and to make whole. If we bring these meanings together, it simply means that the name of Jesus will work deliverance and healing that we may be made whole. As we participate in the life of God these are the three things that take place as “His life” the “eternal life” of God transforms us from practicing sin and death to righteousness and life.
Being made whole means that we become mature and functional; it simply means the life of God is working in us. Therefore, to take on the life of Christ is to repent to turn completely around from our old way of life to His new way of life; Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life

SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING

SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING
Psalm 147:1-5 (KJV)
1 Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.
2 The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.
3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
4 He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.
5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

The first thing we can do to increase our spiritual understanding is to develop praise for God; a praise that becomes our song. To possess a song is performing at peak efficiency or ability. God desires that our lives produce a harmony, a melody that that produces a relational harmony with Him. His presence in us is courted by praise; it is when His presence becomes pleasant to us and becomes comely for us to acquire.
If we can manage to build up God in our passion, we will find God building us up. We can even be the outcast of society or the least to be expected to succeed. Our God specializes in converting the soul; He specializes in transforming the least likely. Jesus expressed that He did not come for those that were well, but rather, He came for those that needed Him the most, those who were sick.
We may not have all the answers for the questions this world is asking; however, we do have the answer for the world today. “Jesus is the answer for the world today, above Him there is no other, Jesus is the way” (Andre Crouch).
When our hearts come in line with the Father’s heart and it begins to beat in harmony with His, He becomes our song, He becomes our passion. Coming into agreement with God positions us for greatness; coming into agreement with God positions us for healing and restoration, redemption and salvation.
God heals the broken heart and binds up their wounds. When our life is off beat and we have lost our harmony is when we must learn to Praise the Mighty God. Bouncing off this world and all it serves will only keep our hearts broken and wounded. Harmony with God is when our understanding with God comes in line with our life practice.
Praising God is when we acknowledge His worth and regard His worth. Jesus refers to this as treasure. Where our heart is ultimately is where our treasure is. What do we treasure? Our treasure is where we are spending our energies.
It is common knowledge that if a flashlight becomes inoperative the first thing we check is to see if the batteries or dead or not. New batteries produce new power or ability; a fresh allegiance to God and learning God works the same. Increasing our praise for God will increase our spiritual understanding which will increase our spiritual abilities. God inhabits the praises of His people; God will supply His presence to those that praise Him, those who declare His worth, and those who value Him greatly.
“He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.” We all have special a place with God; just as the stars are numbered and He calls them all by their names, He has a purpose for us. The position stars take in the universe and their harmony with creation produce a song within itself, and for God to know them all by name shows the depth of His relational desire to be in harmony with us.
Our God is of great power, and His understanding is unlimited. There is nothing He does not understand about us. He knows every issue in our lives how they got there and how they can be resolved. To come into agreement with His understanding is to come into harmony with our destiny and purpose. Therefore, understanding makes way for deliverance and healing.
Isaiah was given instruction to say this to God’s people: “And he said, go, and tell this people: keep on listening, but do not perceive; keep on looking, but do not understand. Render the hearts of the people insensitive, their ears dull, their eyes dim, lest they see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and return and be healed” (Isaiah 6:9-10).
